Privacy Policy

Effective 5 June 2026 · Last updated 5 June 2026 · Version 1.0

JobClock is designed to be private by default. It works entirely on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. JobClock has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no backend servers. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information, and the app makes no network connections of its own. This matches the app's privacy manifest and its “Data Not Collected” declaration on the App Store.

Your data stays on your device

Everything you enter — clients, jobs, time entries, materials, mileage, receipts, invoices, and your business profile — is stored only on your device, encrypted at rest using iOS Data Protection. It never leaves your device unless you choose to export it: for example, sharing a PDF invoice, a CSV file, or a backup through the iOS share sheet. When you share or back up, you control the destination, and that destination's own privacy policy then applies.

Permissions

JobClock asks for a permission only when you turn on the feature that needs it, and the data is processed on your device only:

You can use JobClock fully without granting any of these.

Children

JobClock is a business tool and is not directed at children.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or erase on your behalf. You control all of your data directly on your device, and deleting the app removes it. If you are in the UK or EU and have a question about this, contact us below; you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office, ico.org.uk).

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above.
